High School Players are expected by league rules to wear a team helmet. All Varsity players MUST have a team helmet. Junior Varsity players are sometimes allowed to play with a non-standard helmet. In Varsity games this is enforced and non compliant teams get a penalty and the player without the matching helmet may not be allowed to play.
NOTE: We are in the process of potentially buying a batch of team helmets that we may then either sell to players or possibly figure out a loaner system. So before you may want to wait buy your own until we can confirm that plan.
Our team helmet is Gold (sometimes called old gold I think). The chin guard is officially maroon, but there is some flexibility in that. The face mask is typically gold but again strict compliance there has not historically been strictly enforced.
